It is designed to deliver 99.999999999% durability, and provides comprehensive security and compliance capabilities that can help meet even the most stringent regulatory requirements.

CloudFM leveraged Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) and Amazon S3 Glacier for object storage to ensure Game Clay could easily access and durability. Using custom Amazon Machine Images helped to restore data and help with disaster recovery. Lambda functions were used to automate the data restoration backups. CloudFM used Lambda functions for Game Clay to automate instance expiration after 24-hour period.

The Outcome

Game Clay expects to see a 40 per cent saving using cloud migration in Amazon Web Services (AWS), compared to the costs of a comparable solution using a traditional IT model.
